Membership Information:

Shasta Golf Club is a private club made up mostly of members of other private country clubs from around the world.  Shasta Golf Club arranges play for  members visiting Siskiyou County at several great courses in the area, in addition to its own course. All have great views of majestic Mt. Shasta.

Shasta Golf Club sits in the foothills of Mt. Shasta, just north of the mountain and south of the Oregon border.  The course is 6,850 yards long, a par 72 course, at an elevation of 3,000 feet.  Our season runs from "the last snowfall in the spring to the first snowfall in the fall".

What does it cost to join Shasta Golf Club as a Regular Member?  Does the phrase,"If you have to ask, you probably can't aford it" ring a bell?

But non-residential memberships are reasonable.  We have many non-residential members who are regular members at other private clubs, and who join Shasta Golf Club as a non-residential member so they can utilize the club's toll-free, 24/7 services setting up their reciprocal play at other private clubs nationwide that honor reciprocal play between private clubs.

Our 24/7 services are much more efficient than the 100-year-old protocal of each private country club member having to locate his own head pro to set up such play!

Membership applicants are required to:

      1. Be referred by an existing member of Shasta Golf Club, or
be a member in good standing at another private golf club.

      2. Submit a Shasta Golf Club Membership Application.

      3.  Pass a test on The USGA Rules of Golf prepared by the club.
